🌿 Who These Therapeutic Writing Sessions Are For

These sessions are for anyone who feels the quiet pull toward a slower, more intentional way of being. They’re designed for people who want to tend to their inner world with care — without pressure, performance, or expectation.

🌼 For those navigating life’s thresholds

If you’re moving through a transition — grief, change, burnout, new beginnings, endings you didn’t choose — therapeutic writing offers a gentle way to make sense of what’s shifting.

🌙 For people who feel overwhelmed or stretched thin

If life has become loud, fast, or emotionally demanding, these sessions give you a calm, structured sanctuary to breathe, settle, and reconnect with yourself.

🌾 For anyone seeking emotional regulation

Writing can help soothe the nervous system, slow racing thoughts, and create a grounded rhythm. These sessions are ideal for people who want a non‑clinical, trauma‑aware space to regulate and restore.

🌸 For those who long for creativity without pressure

You don’t need to be a writer. You don’t need experience. You simply need curiosity and a willingness to explore. This is creativity as wellbeing — playful, gentle, and free from judgement.

🌤️ For people who feel isolated or disconnected

Being in a room with others who are also tending to themselves is quietly powerful. These sessions offer community without overwhelm, belonging without performance.

🌱 For anyone referred through social prescribing

If a link worker, GP, or community connector has suggested creative wellbeing activities, these sessions are a safe, trauma‑aware option that support emotional resilience, confidence building, and gentle connection.

🌻 For those who want to reconnect with nature and seasonality

1:1 Writing for Wellbeing Program

Gentle, trauma aware reflective sessions designed to support emotional clarity, confidence , resilience, and self‑connection. Each session is tailored to the individual, drawing on therapeutic writing techniques, journaling, metaphor, and intuitive prompts.

🌿 What to Expect From Your Therapeutic Writing Journey

I usually begin with a series of six, two‑hour sessions — a gentle arc that gives your nervous system time to settle, your creativity space to unfurl, and your story room to breathe.

You’ll be working in my writing hut overlooking Goodwick Bay, a quiet, very small, light‑held space where the tide becomes part of the rhythm of our sessions. It’s a place designed for slowing down, listening inward, and letting the landscape steady you.

Alongside our writing time, we’ll walk sections of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. My prompts often rise from the land itself — the shift of weather, the call of a bird, the way the sea gathers and releases. These walks help you drop into your body, soften your thoughts, and meet your writing from a more grounded place.

Across the six sessions, you’ll experience a blend of reflective writing, nature‑based prompts, gentle conversation, and quiet moments of insight — all held within a trauma‑aware, deeply supportive space.
