The May Writing Retreat

Saturday 2nd May

10am- 2pm / only £35 per person

I’m keeping this gathering to just eight people, so the energy stays intimate and the writing can unfold without overwhelm — a small circle, held with care, where everyone is seen.

May is a threshold month — bright, tender, and full of possibility.

The May Writing Retreat invites you to cross the threshold of a most beautiful private garden

in Pembrokeshire SA63 (nr Clarbeston Road) with intention.

We begin with a quiet blessing ritual of hawthorn and spring water, marking your envelope as a vessel for what wants to unfold. Through three guided letters, you’ll meet the self that’s emerging, honour the one who supported your becoming, and listen for the voice of the landscape that knows you.

This is a workshop for those who crave depth, connection , but quietness & calm.

Who crave mythic threads, and the quiet magic of analogue writing.

Who crave time in nature.

Your sealed June letter becomes a future touchstone

— a reminder of who you were becoming in the forthcoming late Spring & Summer

Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.

This is not a workshop about writing a bestseller.

It’s a workshop about writing for your wellbeing — writing that steadies you, reconnects you, and helps you hear your own voice again.

This is slow, analogue, nourishing writing.

No pressure. No performance.

Just space to breathe and be.

It’s about writing as a form of care — a way of listening inward, tending to what’s emerging, and honouring your own unfolding.

This is writing for healing, grounding, and gentle transformation — not for critique or perfection.

“Writing doesn’t fix everything, but it gives shape to what we feel, and that is its own kind of healing…add nature and magic happens”

‍ ‍

  1. Wear the right clothes / shoes as we won’t cancel as there is plenty of inside space.

  2. Bring a notebook & pen.

  3. A light lunch for you

And finally….

You’ll be met with warmth, a cup of tea, and space to settle.

Sharing is always optional — your words are yours to keep or offer.

All you need to do is arrive, breathe and write when you are ready.

What do I need to bring?
